Wagner-Verdi Bicentenary

Birthdays must be celebrated, especially if it's a bicentenary like the one for composers Richard Wagner and Giuseppe Verdi, both born in 1813.

This recurrence will have a great impact on all the lyric theatres in Europe, like on the playbill* dedicated to both composers in one of the most famous Italian lyric theatres: Alla Scala Theatre in Milan, to which L'Albereta and Gualtiero Marchesi have a special connection with. The first reason is the historic partnership with the family winery, Bellavista; the second reason is that, like every true melomaniac (everyone in his family is a musician), Gualtiero Marchesi opened his second restaurant, il Marchesino, next to Alla Scala Theatre.

Our proposal includes:

• Two nights in a double room with continental breakfast buffet
• Selection of fresh fruits and a bottle of Bellavista Alla Scala Reserve in your room upon arrival
• Suggestions for a tour of Giuseppe Verdi's famous locations: Busseto, Villanova sull'Arda
• Special night at Alla Scala Theatre:

- Transfer both ways with private chauffeur
- "Pre-scala" at il Marchesino Restaurant: Risotto alla Milanese & a flute of Bellavista
- Reservation of front-row seats

• Opportunity to dine at Gualtiero Marchesi Restaurant with a special menu dedicated to the "Green Years of Marchesi" (dinner not included in the proposal)
